This one was from the
second series of 165s and noted for its fabulous Flame Maple
veneers and Gibson's masterpiece, the BJB floating
pickup. Descended directly from the Johnny Smith
p/up I really can't understand why Gibson did n't continue
with it. This
guitar was a delight to play and very jazzy. I could have kept
it forever but I had another Byrdland in sight and, well
.................. ! |
