#023 Hofner 4570 E1 from the sixties.
The thinline version of the 457 -
with Spruce top, Maple sides and back, truss-rod,
toaster and correct 457 tailpiece. Every
detail as it should be.
I prefer the thinlines. This model
but with a 24.75" scale would have been perfect for me.
Everything original and
correct on this lovely old guitar.
Classic European
headstock of the period.
Nice warm, single coil
"toaster" pickup.
Not a mark on it.
Even the case is like new!

#023 is the
oldest of four 4570's in my collection, dated around 1960 and shows bar position markers,
a wedge fascia in Brown and White with a single Toaster (Type
2)
pickup and Hofner's "Flick Switch" control panel.
