I had already been
playing the NYSS-3b, the NYL-5 and the NYS-2 and
thought I should get to know the bigger archtops.
This is the fullsize 17" body, 3"deep.
All these D'Angelicos
feel the same in your hands. The neck is
superb and this one played just like my 5 but with
marginally more acoustic volume.
D'Angelicos somehow just let you play more freely,
better even, and this was just the same but by now you will
have gathered that I prefer the thinner guitars so this was
one I chose not to keep. |
